I have to a chance to snag one of these for $50. It's not working. Anyone have any expire with these. Are they any good. Anybody know if STI lifetime warranty covers them.

Do it, without a doubt.
STI made Kidd triggers for a long time. In fact they still might. They just dont put their name on them anymore.

Picked the STI trigger up today. It appears to be out of adjustment. Ended up just trading my stock 10/22 trigger for it. Messed with it a little but have no
idea where the screws need to be. It will probably be sent back to STI for a tune up. It's a 2 stage from what I've read about 8 ounces first stage and a pound break. I'm not a big fan of 2 stage. Any of you guys have a single stage you might want to trade after it gets a good tune up.

Me, I'd be happy to trade, I've got standard trigger that I was going to put on a rifle for the wife. Older metal model, has had some work done on it.
Hoping for a kidd single stage. This STI is definitely a kidd clone. Side by side exactly the same. May put if up for sale when i get it back if can't find a trade. It has a lighter pull than I am going to need.
Once you get used to a two stage, you wont even notice the first stage.

Called and talked to a guy. He said that the guy that manufactures the trigger groups still works there. He gave me a RMA # and it's on its way back. The trigger looks identical to a Kidd. Supposed to have 8 ounce first stage and 16 ounce second stage.
Got an email from Richard Ringwood of STI today. Advising and new replacement trigger group was on the way to me!
Got the trigger back today. Trigger was very good and very crisp. 2 stage just not my cup of tea. Message was sent to sikocycles days ago with no response. Trigger is for sell in classifieds.
