Hi everyone,
I am a new member to the forum but have been using it for some time to help with information on a current rifle build I have been working on but have ran into an issue. The build is a Stiller’s TAC 338 receiver with Hawkins M5 CIP+ Bottom metal and MDT 3.850 magazine. The issue I am running into is during some test fitting the magazine comes in contact with the front of the receiver and I’m not sure if this is a common thing or not. The back of the magazine seems to have plenty of clearance. So my question is do I need to get a new bottom metal and magazine or can some material be removed from the receiver to allow the magazine to fit properly? Thanks for any information that can be provided!
