My CZ 455 is completely stock. I did adjust the factory trigger. It’s breaking in the 2lb region. I also installed flush cups at the six o’clock and nine o’clock positions. I was carfull not to interfere with the factory free-float work.

I’m not the worlds best shooter. I don’t post often but I wanted to share my results with the group. I apologize if this ground has already been covered.

My testing was done at an indoor range in Casper, WY On 1/3/19. Not to plug the range but it is an amazing facility.

I shoot off of a bi-pod and rear bag.

I fired five shot groups as quickly as I could reload the mag. He barrel never did get really warm. I could hold the metal with my bare hand through the entire test.

The ammo used was:
Fed Auto Match
Fed Target
Eley Target
Remington Thunderbolt

It’ll probably be hard to read on the targets because my handwriting is terrible.

The first four pictures are @ 50 Yards.

The last four are @ 100 yards.

Thank you for reading!

That's pretty much typical for a stock CZ HB gun. Try some Norma match, you'll most likely be pleasantly surprised... Check out the 6x5 thread and you'll get an idea what you can expect out of the gun. Cz's usually start out good and just get better as you improve them.

Thanks that’s good to know. On my lunch break the other day I sat around and shot 300 rounds. I’m stunned at how well it performs out of the box.

I think it's reasonable to expect 1 MOA accuracy from the Tacticool, but as with most things, it is not guaranteed. I have one and it is picky about ammo with the 3 barrels I've tried. All seemed to prefer Eley and Norma Match. That said, if I had to do it again, I'd get the Varmint. The Boyd stock that comes with the Tacticool has quite a lot of flex.

...any updates on the CZ455 Tacticool??? Hows the flex in the stock and have you pushed any other ammo/ ranges that you can share?
I shot two weekends ago at my home range in Billings, MT.

The temp was 23 degrees. Very light wind into my face. I was shooting steel. I used my auto match and target ammo. With both I shoot groups at over 400 yards that I could have covered with a chew can.

As to the flex in the stock I’m not convinced at all. I drilled and tapped the holes to mount my Grovtec qd swivels. The hard-wood stock is covered with a black rubberized paint. The stock is HARD-WOOD.

I’m going to glass-bed the action and I’ll report back.

That awesome actually! im usually not fond of hardwood stocks BUT in this case, Its rubber coated. Also now doubting the thing is flexing much then either. Please keep us posted on the before/ after bedding!
