What's the difference if any?</span>

I have a Remington700 sps-t.

I've been thinking about changing the stock out to one that I can paint.

I think I would just like to buy a used beater stock. I have a fair amount of fiberglass/body-shop experience. I think I could most minor dings with fiberglass resin and then lay down some paint.

Will my sps bottom metal work with a pss/ltr stock???</span>

Re: Stocks

PSS has the palm swell and a longer forend basically.

You can find used HS stocks on here quite frequently that need little to no work for aorund $225 or so.

Hope you enjoy your SPS Tactical, mine is sitting here waiting on a McM A5.

And the LTR doesn't. Are they both HS stocks?

I think that might be the fastest reply ever.

Re: Stocks

I put my SPS in a LTR stock and the inlet was fine for the bottom metal switch. I found one for less than $200 and took some krylon to it. The 20" barrels in a longer fore end PSS stock look stubby to me
