Based on experiences with 300 BLK, I don't see it happening. Not with 150's anyways. Your best chance would be with a 200+ grain bullet and magnum pistol powder, such as AA1680, which is used in the BLK. Even then, the gas port is probably not ideal and would probably need to be drilled out a bit. You also have to consider the twist rate necessary to stabilize a 200+ grain bullet. I don't know what the twist is in an AK, but I doubt it's any faster than 1 in 10.
If you want quiet, you may not want the rifle to cycle anyways. Load up some 150's or 174's, 180's etc over suitable pistol powder and manually cycle the bolt. Easier to cycle a "side-charging" AK vs. an AR15 anyways.
