Such disapointment/ stupidity

Ok, so i have been trying to put together a DPMS lr308 and just got a LPK from Rock river arms. But with one problem. I got the LPK for a 5.56 and not the 308. They are not open on weekends and now i have to send it back and get a new one. (hanging my head and kicking rocks).

Should i keep with RRA or get the DPMS with out the trigger group because i have a 2 stage LMT in now. It will save me about 20 or so dollars.
in your opinion what would you do? RRA or DPMS LPK's

You realize the kits have different parts, specific to the DPMS LR large frame lower?

The RRA AR15 kit will NOT complete your DPMS LR lower.

You'll need the DPMS LR lower kit.

Several parts are different on the AR vs. LR, mag catch pin, front pivot pin, rear takedown pin, etc.

Do what ever you want on the trigger group.

The RRA 308 kit won't work either (takedown pins are NOT the same, etc. as Hellbender stated). Get the DPMS LR-308 LPK or else you'll end up trying to locate individual parts for completing your lower.
