I want to try 300 gr berger and 300 gr smk in my 338 edge
for elr I hawe long throat about 4 inch oal what is
good starting point for seating depth

Go to the "sticky" at the start of this forum (loading for long rang 3) . Everything you need is there.

it is not there. 300 bullets are expensive to test some say bergers work best jamed and sierra work best jumped what I am looking for is what works best fo each bullet
like what is bergers suggested starting point

just found an old post by forum member PGS he had good luck
with 300 bergers at 0,10 jump now I only need info for
300 smk bullet
