What would you suggest/recommend to improve my Ruger 77/22?
I was thinking about a barrel, stock and trigger but I do not know who I should buy from/what I should buy???

    Thank you,
    Stefan

    Lilja barrel http://www.riflebarrels.com/products/ruger_lilja_rifle_barrels.htm

    volquartsen trigger job. https://www.volquartsen.com/pictures/31-7722-target-sear

    volquartsen mag release. https://www.volquartsen.com/products/446-7722-extended-magazine-release-

Stock is up to you. There are a lot of places that sell stocks for them.
The above set up is what I did to my 77/22 Mag. I kept the stock laminated stock on it, just free floated the barrel. Now it is a tack driver and all of the mods were very easy to do.

I had conn. precision chambering true and tighten the bolt on mine. I went with a
tension barrel but I believe a match steel barrel would outshoot it. Mine had the
paddle so it got tossed in favor of a McMillan. There was only one choice of trigger
back then which was a Moyers. It is not perfect, If I take out the last bit of creep the
safety will drop the firing pin. The gun shoots just over an inch with some of the
better ammo. I never have tried the real high dollar match stuff though.

I'm looking for some improvement and I want to keep the benefits of the .22LR which is in my opinion a inexpensive plinker capable to having hours of fun with without having to spend $100+ dollars in ammo.
