    Hey all,

these past weeks we've had a lot of wet weather. Walking through the brush, my boots get wet. That ends up in my feet being cold. Any suggestions on what boots protect well from this?

    **edit**

I did forget to mention, I am in South Texas and weather here is almost never too cold. My feet start to feel really cold after my current boots get soaked. What I'm trying to say is, they cannot be too hot either.

Maybe Kenetrek Pac boot is what your looking for. If not, look at Kenetrek and Lowa's lineup of boots. Buy some Kenetrek socks. They are very nice.

Kenetrek 400s are great, but take a while to break in.
Krispy or some cabelas made by mendle boots.

Some of the lighter muck boots for your weather.
Nats boots are super light and warm.

I wore my lowa uplander down to zero up at 11k in Colorado. If it really gets cold take a look at the arctic pro muck boots, or Nats boots.

I have worn these since October 1st in every cold/wet condition imaginable. Never wet always warm, 10 days straight at a time camping in backcountry. Had 4 pairs of Lowas, 3 whites...Danners etc...these are my favorite by far

I've been hearing a lot about Kenetrek. Would you suggest them even up in Canada's coldest conditions? How about sitting in a stand all day when everything gets cold from not moving around.? Not meaning to hijack thread but needing suggestions also for Alberta next November. Thanks

+1 on the Kenetrek Mountain Extremes. Been hunting in them for 7 or 8 years now and they perform as advertised. Keep your feet dry and warm. A couple of years ago while elk hunting in the Gila the conditions were extremely wet. Feet stayed dry even while wading through ankle deep water in certain places. Hunted pheasant in SD in single digit temps and feet stayed warm.

Another vote for muck boots here. A tad heavy, but I’ve never had any other boot that’s 100% waterproof. Mucks keep you dry. Every time

My go to boots are the Asolo Fugitive GTX boots. When conditions are wet I put on a pair of Outdoor Research Gaiters over them. For me this is a winning combination with quality merino wool socks such as Smartwool or Darn Tuff socks. For me, pack boots are too bulky when covering a lot of terrain.
