Sup arms piston kit carbon build up from suppressed shooting pictures

Since last cleaning:

Op rod round count 2000ish
Bolt, chamber, and upper 1000ish
Griffin explorr EU2 with xeno mount/flash hider

Looks excellent for the round count. Gas pistons don't stop blow back from the chamber area when shooting suppressed. It does help with the extra build up from that you get with DI from the gas operation. Suppressed will be dirty no matter what but it's a little better with gas pistons.

Correct but that's not where the majority of the carbon comes from. The op rod carbon was solidified lol. Had to actually be scraped off but that's to be expected

The explorr is fairly low on the back pressure department and the sup arms kit bleed off works really well. I don't get much blow back through the chamber
 
Are those little strings on top of the cam pin aluminum from the upper receiver? The cam pin opposite the extractor side looks like maybe some wear from carrier tilt. Is there a little groove getting worn in the upper receiver where the cam pin is running?

No. There is a gouge in the upper from a self induced double feed because I'm retarded
