Anyone using super sniper 6x42 for hunting? I fixed power rifle scopes for hunting. Just have not used super sniper before. Just wondering if anyone is using, or has used one before for hunting. Thanks

havent use the super sniper 6x, but have used a 6x Springfield Armory scope on an M1a, and that worked very well. I was able to make snap shots in brush withing 30 yards and the longest kill was at 374 yards on a whitetail doe. But I have used a 20x, 16x, and a 12x super snipers. my favorite being the 12x.

KJ, killed about 80% of my deer with Leupold/Bushnell 6x's and Leupold, Bausch & Lomb, and Zeiss 4x's, and a hog at 240 yds in a pinch w/a 6x36 Swarovski. Even dumped a doe at 75 yds using a 2.5x on a 357 Marlin.

Reticle choice, prefer duplex or post duplex, the German #4 has been done in different variations at Leupold, but not fond of their specs, #1 in a 4x works great up close in thick cover. I also like the CDS or M1 for those longer shots. Shots most often under 300 where I hunt. Never not killed due to using a fixed X.
