Sidearms & Scatterguns Suppressed Pistol Holster

SureFire Masterfire Rapid Deploy Holster HD1-R

Not cheap considering you have to buy their light to make it work... does work, but at the end of the day. It's just too damn heavy to have all that on your side though !!

Yeah, that system just seems bad to me. I haven't read anything good about it as far as feedback. I was excited when it first came out.

A little strange, but works pretty well.

This is probably the easiest and cheapest option. I have seen this in the past, but there was very little feedback on it.

I know at one point in time tier one operators were using high end open division IPSC and IDPA holster setups when the task at hand called for suppressed pistols.

This actually makes sense. I never thought about using those open holsters as a suppressor host. They never came across as being a holster that really holds onto a gun securely. It just looks like something that keeps the gun there just enough to draw from.

Im not sure it does lol. I think it was the only option. I would assume they’re using something a little more goal oriented now. But then again maybe they worked great and still are deployed.

I kinda want to try this since I already have a safariland QLS setup on my belt. The crappy part is you need a suppressor cover for it as well to avoid deforming or melting the holster. Then again, I suppose having a cover would probably be a good thing to avoid burning your leg or other things.

I haven't been using my pistol can much at all since I've had it for the simple fact it's just inconvenient to shoot it that way. I don't shoot from a static range.

This is a Fobus holster with the end clipped off. It's pretty solid for walking around, but I wouldn't call it a hard use set up. One positive, is that it doesn't have a long draw stroke.

Yeah, I've seen other snap designs as well. I am just too paranoid that the snap would be undone by just brushing up against something. I am not some SOF dude, but I just like to have solid gear incase it needs to be used in worst case scenarios.

Main intentions are for range and outdoor use. It sure would be nice to have a can on my pistol if I needed to shoot a critter (hopefully not a bear with a 9mm) while backpacking/hiking in the mountains.

There's no way it would come undone without you noticing. Even then, it holds just fine without the strap while in normal motion.

I agree on the desire for solid gear. This is borderline novelty item, but still quite functional.
