I’ve got a Thunderbeast 22 Takedown en-route and I’m dreaming up some ideas for modifying my Ruger MK IV Target (its gonna be a long form 4 wait...I know).
On silencertalk and uzitalk there were some ultra-stubby space guns that I think would be cool to emulate. Read deeper into reliability and it seems the consensus was that the pistols won’t cycle without a suppressor attached. Not a deal breaker, I’d be down to buy a junky older MK pistol to have cut down for the sole purpose of this project.
Velocities weren’t stellar as per the silencertalk thread, roughly 650ft/s from the short barrels vs 900ish from the 4.5” tubes.
Would love to hear/see other ideas!
