Suppressor throwing off my groups?

I put a suppressor on my rifle today and my groups seemed to really open up…..not just point of impact change. Action screws are tight. Scope is tight. Rifle is a Tikka CTR. Suppressor is a direct thread DD Enticer-STi.

I assume I’ve just changed barrel harmonics enough that I need to go back to reloading bench up work up loads again.

Am I missing something?

If you reloaded specific to a speed node, the suppressor probably changed that and will need a tune up on the load. If it was a load more specific to seating depth, sometimes a different muzzle device or suppressor (if you have options of others to try) can bring it back together.

I've also seen groups open up when suppressors are overtightened, especially on mount with a small tapered mating surface like a cherry bomb and a couple others I can't remember.
