SureFire E2D weapon light Head?

Re: SureFire E2D weapon light Head?

I would recommend the Malkoff VME bezel . It allows any E-series Surefire to use Malkoff drop-in LEDs. With a VME bezel, I'd then recommend any of the Malkoff M60 or M61 drop-ins, which are optimized for 2xCR123

TNVC also makes a conversion , but I know nothing about the quality.

Lastly, you might also consider something called an E to C adapter, which would then allow your E2D to run any of the one zillion P60-sized drop-in LEDs and bezel assemblies. For example, get a hard-anodized SF Z44 bezel to match your E2D body, and then get a single-mode Cree XM-L LED from Thrunite and rock out with over 450 lumens!

I run the VME head on a SF E1B back-up body on my carbine. It works great!

Get a Surefire KX2C head (same head that comes on a Scoutlight) and you are good to go. Or, since the head costs a fair bit, you could buy a Surefire VTac, which is basically an E2D body with a KX2C head on it for not much more than just the KX2C head costs.

Yup. Another great option. I forgot about that one.
