I got a surefire micro that I have attached to the sf brake and it is STUCK!!! Put it on shot maybe 15 rounds put it back in the safe for probably 6 weeks and it won't move at all. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

What you are probably dealing with is carbon that seized it to the brake. Did you put any kind of lube on the mating surfaces? It's also a good idea to remove it after shooting, but that's not always easy especially if it's hot as f. I know my surefire was hard to remove without even having shot it, so any carbon will add to the difficulty. Have you tried shooting it again to get it hot to see if that might free it?
I would call surefire to see what they recommend, but I have seen on youtube where people have unlocked the locking ring, and shoot a round through it, and the can goes flying off the muzzle due to the pressure. Call surefire.
How did that micro sound? Probably adds almost nothing to the muzzle for about 20db reduction? They seem pretty cool.

Calling surefire is the safe way to play it. My surefie can likes to stick, but I've always been able to muscle it off. I would suggest dousing it with CLR and letting it soak overnight and then trying to work it free. If you can soak it in CLR in a ziplock or bucket, that would be best.
haha yeah that TC Armory was one that I have seen, lol. Not something that is recommended for indoor range. Bring a fishing net with a long pole to catch it lol. I bet we can come up with some real dumb ways to fix this.
Try using a rubber mallet and tap all around the mount a couple of turns to break the carbon up. If that doesn't do it repeat again with the mallet and mount the barrel in a vise to hold and then strap wrench it off...
Ive had this happen on my mini... Use any kind of powder dissolving solvent CLP/Hoppes/Sweets and soak the mount and locking system on the can... (If your worried about the exterior finish, wipe it down, most of the good solvents can discolor finishes given enough time)... Then let it soak, usually 24 hours. The carbon will break down and you should be able to remove it by hand, strap wrench worse case scenario... Next time, lube the brake
Everytime I forget and let my Surefire suppressors cool all the way off after firing, they will get stuck and I just wait till I'm at the range again and shoot it and get it good and hot. The metals expand and the can comes right off. Give that a try. I muscled off one of my AAC cans once when it was stuck and I jacked up the teeth on the latch. Damn it!!!
Also, you will get a lot of back-splash frags in the form of carbon/copper. Hold the gun out like a big pistol, and close any optics cap/look away/wear eyepro.

Late replay but I ended up using some channel locks and lots of distilled vinegar and peroxide, surefire wanted me to send it in and they told me there was a formula they could use. Also the ring was stuck too, I couldn't turn it to shoot it off or I would have let it fly.
I shot about 1500 rounds in 3 days through my SF -212. The lock ring was stuck, as well. The cure was to take a rubber mallet, or magazine, or something. I forget what, but it wasn't metal, and tap the muzzle of the can, and the lock ring. That got the lock-ring to give. Then I fired it and the can came off (launched about 25 yards or so, so pick a nice grassy area). Also, if you shoot the can off, hold the weapon 1 handed like a large pistol and look away. You WILL get particulate back-blast that can embed under the skin if you're holding the gun like you're "driving" it. Ask me how I know :/
