So my surefire can just got approved and I am wondering if any of you guys have had any trouble carrying your rifles in the GSII with the can attached and with the barrel in the bottom of the pack. Rifle is a GAP with nightforce glass so its a little on the heavy side and I am wondering if this could adversely affect the mounting system and/or my zero if the rifle is packed with all the weight resting on the can. My guess would be no, but would love to hear if anyone running a similar system has had any issues with this.

I would put mine in with buttstock down and can up. I don't think I would want the weight of the rifle bearing down on the can and attachment point...

i have an X3 Lodrag and i would NOT put my gun in there muzzle down with my can on it. though, it may not hurt anything. my can and mounting point are very stout but why take the risk when it takes 3 seconds to screw the can on

i have a pouch on the outside of the pack that i put my suppressor into, then pull it out and put it on the gun. easy.

I run mine suppressor down, no problems I've seen. If you've seen the crap we put them through in country, you'd have no doubt of their robustness.

I carry a 20" AI AX with the SF 762K can off and in a pouch on the outside. Its to easy to attach to worry about potentially screwing the can or melting the pack just for a few more seconds of time to attach it.
