I've got an older Surefire X300UA that fits snug (no rattling) on both my Gen 4 Glock 19 and Gen 5 Glock 45 with the 'U' Plate.

I purchased a new Surefire X300UA from an authorized dealer and the 'U' Plate rattles on both the Gen 4 and Gen 5. I read somewhere that the Gen 5 Glocks now have a picatinny. I installed the 'P' Plate. It locks in tight but requires considerable force (toward the trigger guard) before the latch snaps into place.

Anyone else using a X300UA with a Gen 5 Glock? What plate are you using?

Note: I sent an e-mail to Surefire and they said to use the 'U' Plate with Gen 5 Glocks. . . No way was that 'U' Plate going in service rattling and loose like it was.

P on my G45. The U had some rattle and fore/aft movement. I also added a little e-tape to the rear of the switch to make it fit a little tighter to the trigger guard.

My Gen 3 17 has a 300U with the U plate and it fits really tight on my frame. Switch it to a friends Gen 3 and it's pretty loose. I suspect there is some decent tolerance in the molded frames based on my sample of two.

Thanks, this was kind of my thought to about the tolerances
