Surgeon Scalpel in 6.5CM?

I recently purchased a scalpel in 6.5cm - a friend gave me an old box of 120gr AMax (no longer in production) which shot one ragged hole.

Of course it did!

Anyone already tried all the different brands and projo weights to see what the scalpel barrel likes best?

Just out of curiosity, is it a newer model of Scalpel (comes with a Magpul chassis)?

120 ELD-M is going to be close to the A-Max. Chances are though, that your rifle is going to shoot pretty well with many offerings. Sometimes, those old A-Max offerings used to have load data on the box. Hopefully yours does (and you haven't chunked it already). Would be a good starting point for load development if you handload.

Yes a Magpul chassis.

Yes I still have the box, it actually calls for Varget powder.

I have several pounds of 4350 on hand already.

I plan on getting some 120 ELDM to see how it compares - if it works, going to order some projos
