Figured I would put this info out there, as I couldn't find anything on it.
I bought a AI AX chassis for my Surgeon XL action and when I ordered it from EO I asked if the AX mag was the correct on for this AX chassis, They said it was. So fast forward I get the rifle all together and noticed the spare mag doesn't fit well and has feeding issues.
Called EO back and explained the issues I was having and after discussing it with there staff they decided that they needed to call there AI rep , low and behold the AI AX chassis for the flat bottomed Surgeon XL takes the older AT mags. So correct mag for this set up is 6715 AT mag which replaced the 4808 and not the 20400 AX mag. EO was great to deal with and made it right.
