Swapping a suppressor (Area 419 and others)

I have two guns, one with a suppressor and one with a brake. I'd like to be able to switch the brake (PVA Shockwave) and suppressor (TBAC Ultra 7) from gun to gun easily. Area 419's hellfire system looks nice, but it would require me to purchase a new brake. Are there any other systems that would allow me to switch them back and forth easily (keeping a suppressor on one gun and a brake on the other), or is the hellfire system my best bet?

Your parenthesis like seem to go against what the rest of your post is pointing towards? If you are keeping it on one gun than why the need to change?

But with what I think youre asking 419 is the best bet... at least its where I went.

2 adapters in 2 omegas and I can use them interchangeably, 1 out of 5 rifles has a poi difference that I noticed in my initial first quick tests and that difference was touching the left side of the 1/2" orange dot with can A and then touching the other side of the dot with can B, not enough that Im going to worry about it as the groups between the two were the same on all of em.

Im pretty pleased with it now that I cleaned the oil off of it on my new second can and it doesnt unscrew to easily.

As with any adaptor, break it loose frequently otherwise youll never get it off once its built up and grabbed on. I had to get a breaker bar with the can in a vice this last time and I had a wall of crud built up the entire adapter face cementing it on. The sico asr module was tough too when I let it go too long.

After soaking in clr (stripped the omegas outer sleeve off so it was just the inner core) you can see that some parts were still dry as bone holding on.

Yeah, basically Gun A has a suppressor and Gun B has a brake. I'd like to be able to easily pull the suppressor from Gun A and put it on Gun B and put the brake from Gun B onto Gun A, without the use of tools if possible.

In this circumstance I would say yes, the hellfire system is probably your best bet.

Are both barrels and the suppressor threaded the same thread (i.e. 5/8x24)?.

If so, just direct thread it. Easiest and cheapest solution. Direct thread is easy and simple, personally I don't see why people feel the need to add more parts, expense and complication to the solution if they don't have to.

If your suppressor is setup for the TB brake, then you can also just leave the TB muzzle brake in the suppressor and transfer it between rifles as if it's a direct thread.

Otherwise, if you feel like you have to spend money, the Area 419 is a good solution. It's just not cheap.

It's not cheap and the threads are the same 5/8x24. The TBAC is CB mount and I only have one muzzle brake right now, which got me thinking that rather than buying another CB mount there might be a more convenient system. Not sure I want to drop the $$ for the hellfire system and buy a new brake though, so selling my current brake and leaving on the TB brakes may be the way to go.

It's an option, I just prefer my PVA brake to the TB brake and was wondering if there is a way to use the PVA brake and be able to switch it with suppressor easily.

Maybe I'm still not getting it lol...I only shoot 100% supressed. Do you want to shoot unsuppressed at times and need a different brake for some reason over the tbac brake?

I run dead air brakes on 10ish barrels with a harrim of suppressors whoring around before them so trying to understand what exactly your trying to be able to do cuz it sounds like your trying to do the same thing pimpin

I already gave you an option where you can do all of that, without spending money because you have everything you need to do it :p

Just leave the TBAC CB brake inside the suppressor, that will go back and forth between the rifles, making it a direct thread. And then you are still free to use your A419 brake as you please.

I noticed ;). I'm going to try it out next time I go out.
