I just got my T1x, took it to the range, sighted it in etc. it’s a fun rifle and I’m happy with the way it shoots. I just swapped it Into to my old CTR stock I had lying around allowing for a little more LOP and a raised comb. While switching stocks, I noticed the T1x stock has a removable insert that supports the barrel. I’m sure the Finnish engineers designed this for a reason. Does this control barrel harmonics? Should I expect worse accuracy in the CTR stock without this in place? Thanks for the insight.

I did something similar, dropped my T1x into a regular T3 stock and it shoots astonishingly well. Dunno if it's "better" since I never tried the factory stock w/insert, but it's as good as I can fathom a 22LR to be (aside from some crazy zillion dollar setup).

Thanks Gents! Just the info I needed. There is obviously a huge gap between the fore end of the CTR stock and the T1x barrel, but I’m a function first guy and this does not bother me for now. Much appreciated
