Tac Con Trigger

The 3rd selector of the swicth that would be auto/burst on a M-16 is an assisted reset. If you pull the trigger and hold, only one round will fire. The 3rd option causes the trigger to move forward as the BCG rides over the hammer. Not enough to trip the sear for continuos fire, but enough to assist the reset to allow for quicker double taps. The trigger takes some getting used to, but once you do you will be able to have a rate of fire close to that of an auto gun. Military Arms Channel and Jerry Mitchlek have good videos on the trigger on their YouTube channels.

I played with one and after a couple hundred rounds decided to stop wasting ammo. Basically it helps you fire faster with a short reset, but you still have to move your finger very fast. The owner said he finally got it to work after a few hundred rounds. I put it in a 15/22 and it seemed to work pretty well, so it may be weapon dependent as in works in some, but not in others. Personally I would buy the slide fire stock if I wanted to waste ammo as it is pretty easy to get to run for nearly anyone, but the trigger definitely has a learning curve. The guy that owns it is going to bring it back, so we can try it in my 9mm JRC. I won't say it doesn't work, but don't expect to just take right off with one.

I have heard some people say that they would rather just have the Geissele 3 gun trigger works just as good and you don't need to flip the selector for it to run. I have never felt both so I don't know for sure.
