Tac ops drag bag.

Has anyone tried to fit a 53” weapon into the large Tac ops bag.

First thing I did. Wondering if anyone has tried to put a 53” weapon in the large bag even if I have to open the top of the muzzle protector in the bag. I own numerous small Tac ops bags. The XL will be to big. You won’t find a better drag bag than this one. I drug the small one with a LTR thru a slag field. The bag made it unscathed however my BDUs with elbow and knee pads not so much.

I would think 50" is about max for the large bag if you want to keep the zip closed.

Hey thanks. I have a muzzle and scope cover on it now so when I put it in the small bag I put the muzzle in the hood I wrap a towel around the barrel were the zipper meets it when I zip it shut.

The amount of space I have left with a 48” OAL doesn’t leave me anywhere near confident you could get 53” in there.

XL will be a little big but might not be too bad. This is what my 49" .338 lm rifle looks like on top of a Tac Ops XL drag bag. Definitely has more room than I need and I'll probably pick up a Large to swap out since I can fold the stock if needed.
