I had a blast this past weekend shooting farther than I have ever before. There was an extreme long range class at Tac Pro with 8 students, a couple of 50's, several 338's, a 300WM and I was the smallest with a 260. The 260 surprised everybody by streching out to 1600 and one hit at 1700. Weather didn't cooperate as a front came thru with low clouds and rain. It shut down visibility so we only got out to 1800. Just couldn't see the other targets out to 2400 for the big guns to try. Bottom line I learned a great deal, tested my shooting skills, pushed my rifle and ammo farther than ever before and lasted was not only humbled by the wind but royally spanked at times. And now... I got the bug for a larger caliber rifle and I can't wait to do it again.
