Tactical bolt handle

I've been thinking of putting a tactical bolt knob on my marlin xt-17. I dont want to spend the money to have the bolt threaded, so what are my other options? Thanks for any help.

I did my marlin by hand and it was a piece of cake. PTG has knobs as cheap as $6 but I got the anderson knob for $12.50. I used a file to create a rounded end, threaded it and let devcon fill any gaps. Total cost was about $15 and a couple hours of time.

I thought threading was the really hard part. How much is a tool like that?

Chasing threads uses a hand tool thats about $5.

I did the same as above bought a knob cut down the factory handle and threaded it by hand worked out pretty good and didnt cost very much

not to highjack this thread but i thought it would help, but dont they sell a polymer snap on style handle thats a universonal fit? i just cant find them
