Both are extremely good Bipods. I’m not going to dig into which is better for each and every individual. I figured since I have one of each I would take pictures of them side by side collapsed and folded up, “collapsed”legs in shortest position” and down, legs in longest position and down and a picture of each of the “hinges” with the available leg positions. The tactical allowing forward and backward. The f-class only forward positions. Note you can put ski feet, claw feet or the standard rubbers on either. The ski feet are on the f-class in all these pictures.

Thanks for posting. I can only imagine how nice these are. I bought one of Daves bipods about 10 years ago and it's still going strong on a 50 bmg. I also have an Atlas and it's done it's job well, but it's not an LRA by any stretch. They are worth the coin. Might have to get one of the Tactical LRAs as my old one is similar size wise to the F-Class. Nice to see them side by side!

Would you happen to have an atlas available to take a picture of next to the F class? I’ve always wanted a LRA but never could find one locally to check out before I purchased. It looks huge in your pictures

It's large, but rock solid. Works on my 25# bmg like it was made for it. I've used it on a Blackfeather stocked M1a and yes it's large; depends on your application. If you are just range shooting off grass then who cares; if you are competing in PRS matches......uh maybe not. The LRA Tactical would be a better choice for that.

I know this is a pretty old post at this point. But where did you buy the ski feet? Can’t seem to find them online.

A few years back one of the plant managers where I was working at the time overheard me talking about shooting 1000 yards. He asked me a couple questions then took me into his office. Turns out it’s the owner of lra bipods. He gave me a bag of parts for like $20. That had the ski feet, extra rubbers and quick release. Sorry that’s not gonna help you much.

Well. That’s one way to get them ; ). I don’t even know if he is even still in business. I can’t find his bipods anywhere. Want an fclass, but nowhere to be found unfortunately.

You checked Eurooptic? They usually have 'em. They are kinda hard to turn up, I had a time finding the one I got years ago. It's a tactical version, it's on a .50 HTI. It's SOLID. Blows an Atlas away, and I'm pretty sure LRA came out with a new bipod that smaller than these, more like the Atlas size but built like an LRA. LRA legs don't rotate and have more stops. Everything about them is quality.

It supports this bad boy with no problems at all. Couldn't ask for a better one. Notice mine is a tactical model and it only goes forward too. Which is fine. It does have the locking lever in the rear.

Nice Rig! Every store online show out of stock, and there is nothing on his website, that is, if I am even looking at the right sight.

I have the LRA F class bipod..With the wide stance it adds the stability needed to make accurate shooting more consistent..at least it did for me..These days I only shoot at the range off of a bench...never in the field..The downside it is big and has to be removed in order for the rifle to fit in case..If I had it to do over I would get the Elite Iron bipod..I would consider selling the LRA, which also has the quick release mount, purchased from Eurooptics, but I would probably want what I paid for mine looks like brand new and everyone seems to be out of them..Ray
