Rifle Scopes Talk me into or out of this optic trade

I have a Leupold VX6-HD 3-18 that I have got with a 50% off coupon but now have no real need for, so I've been trying to sell or trade it (can't list it here as I'm not a full member yet).

Anyways, a guy offered to trade me a "like new" Trijicon VCOG 1-6 with a red 7.62 illuminated reticle for it, straight trade.

I can't decide if it's worth it. I have no need for either scope personally, just trying to sell something to fund other gun stuff. The VCOG is probably worth a little more than the VX-6, but are VCOGS in high demand these days, or have they gone by the wayside with so many other 1-6 Optics?

The only question you need to ask is:
Do you need an AR optic?

The VCOG is a more valuable Optic, Trijicon can always sell easy and unfortunately Leupold doesn’t have the greatest resell value. I bet if you threw the VCOG onto a AR sight it would sell pretty quick. Just my 2 cents. Good luck on your decision!
