Rifle Scopes Target/Hunting Scope Help

Curtis Axiom Chambered in 6.5 Creedmoor.
Mainly target shooting, but with a possibility of hunting whitetail in Michigan.
Distance 500 Yards, maybe 700 if I can get some more land cleared.
Scope I am looking for will be 50MM, FFP, MIL, without a tree reticle.
Upper magnification range 15-18, but more is better, but with the 50mm obj limit I know I have really narrowed my options.
Brands not willing to entertain is Vortex, or chinese made scopes.
Price point $1,500ish, with access to discounts for veterans.

With reticles that have numbers next to the mil marks what should I be looking at? Looking hard at these two. The first option, people on here seem impressed with the T6Xi line. The price on Expert Voice is real good. The second scope is not talked about a lot as an option so not sure.
Steiner T6Xi 2.5-15x50 with the SCR reticle.
Vudu 5-25x50 with the MD3 Reticle.

Which should I get, what other options have I missed?

Check Scopelist and EuroOptic who give LE/Military discount and also their demo Nightforce NX8 4-32x50 MIL-C and MOAR models C624 and C625 that aren't XMAS trees.
