I’ve rebuilt my range and I will be needing a lot more steel for it. All the steel I have now will be going inside the pistol/carbine area and will need steel for my rifle range. What sizes/shapes would everyone recommend? Starting at 100 and going out to 1000 every hundred yards. I would like to have at least 2 targets per berm.

A 1 moa and 2 moa plate at each range berm from 500 on out would be nice.

I have a 1/2 ipsc at 75 and a 10" square at 150 and thats mainly for friends with the ars and crap rifles to play on, from there to 400 its a creek bed with trees.

At 400 I have a double plate post with an 8x16 plate and a 10 circle.
At 500 I have a kyl of 4,6,8,10,12 circles
At 540 I have a mk coyote
At 540 I have an mk pig
At 560 I have a 2/3 ipsc
At 600 I have a 2/3 ipsc
At 675 I have a kyl with a 2/3 ipsc, 12, 10, 8 and 6 circles.
At 810 I have a fill size ipsc.
Past there I have to Go to a different position and I would just drag my full size ipsc over for those.

I agree with most here. If you are going to do 2 at each distance, 1 MOA and 2 MOA. Our range is set up with basically 2 MOA at each distance but we are adding 1 MOA at 1000.

Also depends on what kind of use the range is going to get. We have targets at 460, 600, 750 and 1000. For the most part, us average guys that like to shoot, will shoot the 1000 but seldom come back to the shorter targets. Again, we are just 4-5 guys who like to shoot and don't compete shooting on private land. If you are setting up a public range or are going to have a lot of use planned, I could spending that kind of coin on 20 targets.
