A man is in jail charged with killing his girlfriend after their bedroom foreplay, involving a loaded gun, went horrifically wrong.


Paloma Williams, 24, was blasted in the chest during deadly foreplay with her new lover Andrew Shinault, 23, The Sun reports.

The pair had been dating for only a fortnight but they had played with a gun during previous encounters, it has emerged.

Mr Shinault told the police he and Ms Williams were using a 9mm Taurus for “sexual gratification and arousal” at his home in Valrico, Florida.

Due probably to the way the population is distributed down here we don't seem to have one location that stands out except for the Northern Territory for about half the year. They only have two seasons up there, wet and dry, with the wet season having extremes of high temps, high humidity, monsoon rains and crazy behavior.

I'm two or three miles from Valrico.
Interesting story but there are two problems with it.

Florida does not require registration of firearms and municipalities can't require it either.

The other issue is that they took her to Brandon regional hospital.
It's closer than any other hospital for me and I would not choose to be a patient there.

BTW Barney, we don't count time in fortnights. Maybe the writer meant they were playing Fortnight. Haha!!
