A few years ago I was changing the grips on my PT-1911 bi tone pistol one of the bushings stripped out, I have ordered 5 different sets and every set is way to small!! Can’t get ahold of anyone at Taurus. Pisses me off, anyone know where to buy the correct size?

👍🏻 You guys are so helpful lol I asked if anyone could find grip screws and bushings not for everyone to tell me what a pile of shit pistol I have, pistol was a gift couldn’t care less what you guys think they are, just want it complete again!!

I am fairly sure that the Beretta 92 share the same frame bushings as the Taurus. Order a few from Brownells.

I have the M9A3 and the grip bushings are tiny are the 92s bigger?
I think the bushings linked above are for the Taurus Beretta clone, not a 1911. What threads are stripped out, the bushing to frame or bushing to grip screw? What's too small with the bushings you've already bought, diameter or height?

I bought some oversized bushings from brownells measured ID of hole and it is .253 I’m not sure how they measure there threads from outside or inside of threads they are claiming .255

I’d have to send mine out of state or at least out of the county to get that kind of deal the only gunsmith we have here charged me 1200 bucks to true a Remington action and thread the barrel and it never shot worth a piss. So I started using DMR down in Vegas, but not to comfortable shipping a pistol down there even if it’s just the frame that city has gotten real crazy since the election.
