Suppressors TBAC muzzle device options

It’s reverse thread, so when you take it off you’re actually spinning the suppressor the the right, which tightens the muzzle adapter onto the barrel threading. If you somehow managed to get something carbon locked they supply you with a wrench.

But yes, there is a rubber ring in the part that goes in the suppressor. I’ve shot my ultra 7 quite a bit on multiple calibers with this set up and never had it come close to locking up.

You’ll need a area419 universal adapter. This threads on to the barrel and will mate with the area419 suppressor adapter that will go into the ultra 7.

In my experience the universal adapter and suppressor adapter never get stuck together. Now the suppressor adapter will carbon lock in the ultra 7 but it’s not an issue since there’s not really a reason to remove it from the can unless you want to clean it or use a different type of mount. The suppressor adapter has wrench flats so it’s easy to break free.

The bonus is you can always take the can off the universal adapter and put a self timing hellfire break on it when you want without having to change the muzzle device (universal adapter)

Good to know. He’s just looking to not have his can stuck all the time. This is not after a lot of rounds fired either. Back problems have prevented him from shooting matches the last few years. Pretty frustrating when the can is stuck on after one range trip. And he’s pretty meticulous with cleaning everything after every range trip

Thanks. I’m familiar with the adapter and hellfire brake myself, but never got their adapter for my omega since I used the brake more than anything.

I have never had a stuck suppressor (ultra 7 or 9) on my CB brakes. Range trip or a day of high volume prairie dog shooting. I don’t use grease or anything on the threads. (Maybe I should?) It makes me wonder what is going on. Have you checked with TBAC?

The Hellfire or the Sidewinder adapter?
