has anyone taken fully disassembled a terminus action bolt? If so please give me some tips. I have taken the firing pin assembly out of the bolt but cant get the assembly apart with the spring and don't want to damage it. looking for videos on youtube and cant find anything with a shroud with full disassembly.

im going to assume that is has something to do with this allen key, but i don't want to mess it up and don't know a good method to release the tension.

You drill a hole in the block of wood or use a muzzle brake to fit the firing pin in so it doesn't bottom out. Compress the spring till it hits the back of the shroud and start unscrewing. Once the screw is completely removed let the pressure off. To reinstall do the opposite. A long quick clamp may help if you drill a hole in one side to slip the firing pin in, not sure if it will take that pressure but worth a shot.

Why do you want to disassemble it?

Do you know how to get it together correctly without fucking up firing pin travel?

If you simply want to clean it, I recommend a spray cleaner.

I don't think you can mess up the firing pin travel. Its one screw between the shroud and the firing pin, line up holes and screw it in. Its that simple.

Maybe he wants to use a lighter firing pin spring.
