Terry Cross/Jim ClarkJr LRA Match update

Re: Terry Cross/Jim ClarkJr LRA Match update

Killer match so far. Freezing cold, wet and muddy. No wind really. I was so deep in this one puddle water was almost pouring into my action...lol...it was so cold. Great stages of fire though. Shot 14 stages first day and I'm whooped.

Pete the Meat is shooting well, Tony tore a calf muscle running 25 yard and then got bit by a tarantula spider on his neck...he's a walking nightmare. The rest of us are just trying to keep pace with the Oklahoma boys.

I have no pics of my awrsomeness...sorry.

Re: Terry Cross/Jim ClarkJr LRA Match update

Sounds like good training. Really wish I could have made it. I got specific instructions on how to sabotage Nomad and friends from DHS. Hope you guys have fun. Push Terry in a puddle for me.

On a more serious note, here are a couple pics from the match, day 1. My digital camera is acting up, the focus isnt working, so here are the few with the best focus.

Re: Terry Cross/Jim ClarkJr LRA Match update

Here are a few photos from today. As you can see we did do a little running just to get our heart rate up. A few of the shooters came up limping after our little dash. Need to go to bed now. Tomorrow will be a new day and we will be doing a little more shooting. Stay tune.

Sounds like a good match so far. Wish I could have made it.

Spider bites and torn muscles won't slow down Team Blaster.

Re: Terry Cross/Jim ClarkJr LRA Match update

Thanks to all those individuals involved in this shoot, for the hospitality and pointers, from Nebraska. On another note, you have no idea what cold is. 7 degress when we arrived at home this morning at 7:30 am.

Re: Terry Cross/Jim ClarkJr LRA Match update

OK after making it in early this morning and getting some rest I am able to post. First off a big THANK YOU to Terry, Jim and his staff for all the hard work in putting on this match. We shot 22 events over two days and we did not have much down time. Terry and Jim kept the events going and everything seem to run smoothly.

Also thank you to Casey and the sponsors for the prizes for the prize table. Casey did all the work lining up the sponsors and helped out when ever he was needed.

It was a pleasure seeing everyone again. Group one was GREAT and everyone helped each out and just watched out for each other.

Also Saturday night we went out to dinner with Tony, KD (Team Blaster), Chad TRG 42, Botlripper, Sean Little and friends. Tony kept us in stichtes all night long. During one of Tony's stories he added a little sound effect and sent our drink glasses flying in to the air. I think people that had come in to the restutrant thinking that they were going to have a nice quiet dinner, after hearing the noise turned around to see what the noise was and I think a few were even looking for the exit. A GREAT night all round.

Here you go KD. Congras on winning buddy.

Re: Terry Cross/Jim ClarkJr LRA Match update

This match was a blast, even with the bullet gremlins hounding me all weekend. Another huge thanks to Terry, Jim, their kiddos, Casey, and everyone that had a hand in putting it all together. It was well thought out and ran great. Sorry I had to run out half way out threw the awards. As allways, company was great.
Terry, hope your back survived the awards!

You sure were, and none of you showed any signs of slowing down. Very well done, Louis, there is a lot to be learned from you guys.

Re: Terry Cross/Jim ClarkJr LRA Match update

Hey guys
Finally got my sisters computer up and running so I could post and look, great match!!! Big thanks to Terry, Jim and their kids for running a great match, can't thank enough the doner's for the prize table, WOW!!

Congrats to Kevin Drake on his win, its about time someone else in Team Blaster took first, Tony still talks a big game and even bigger conspiracy of why he didn't win the match. I can't talk as I still suck ass as usual, Team Ass Rat just can't get a break anymore!!

Great to see you again Pete and meet some great guys and good shooters, couldn't have asked for a nicer bunch, and I'm glad I could shoot on someone else's target and help them out as that seemed to be the only time I shot good.

Hope to see you guys again at another match soon, thanks to Sniper Construction for the steel target from the prize table, tried to look you guys up on the web tonight and didn't find anything? Also thanks to Surgeon Rifles for the rail accessory I picked up, always need something to make my rifle look better since I can't shoot worth a damned at least I look good doing it
!!!

Later
