I'm on my cell phone and do not have Microsoft word on it. Also, it says to include info such as phone number, address, etc in the body of the email but not to include personal info in the comments. What comments and where are they so I know not get mixed up about it?

A bit more research provided me with the fact that they were also covering a militia’s ability to arm themselves with artillery.

So compared with artillery, a semi automatic rifle seems pretty modest.

In a world where it's being shown that the police may be unable or unwilling to protect you (a truth most everyone here has known for a long time) wanting to grab guns becomes an interesting contradiction especially if you're not willing to come out strongly to enforce the law.

Just because a bunch of people went out and bought guns does not mean they are pro 2A. Many have the mind set that it's ok for them, but not for you (or most anyone else)

The one thing it does is it start casting doubt about the narrative. Why? Because they were told you could just go on the Internet and buy a gun, no background check needed. Then reality sets in with 4473s, waiting periods etc. After that they realize that you just can't go around willy nilly carrying in many states legally. See point above about police as well, which is why they're buying a gun in the first place. If there was a belief the police can and would protect them they wouldn't buy a gun. If they are REALLY smart they realize that you're not going to stop a mob of a dozen people with a revolver that holds 6 shots. That may be asking too much.

It sure doesn't mean they won't vote for the same idiots they always voted for though but it gives them a fighting chance. One of the most important things to remember about selling to a group of people is you don't market to one side or another, you market to the middle.
