Re: texas hog hunting question

Sorry! To hunt in Texas you need a hunting lisc There are several different type. Beings you are a Non res you will need a non res of some type of type I mean time amount. You just have to decide how much huntin you will do. You should be able to do it for under a 100 dollars. Enjoy! PS the State of Texas gets their moneys worth from you, so get your moneys worth from it. As far as the pigs go...killem all!

Exceptions: a hunting license is not required to hunt the following:

Depredating feral hogs, if a landowner (resident or non-resident) or landowner's agent or lessee is taking feral hogs causing depredation on the landowner's land.

I hope you are planning on waiting until it cools down some?

If not the night hunting is the way to go since it is only 90*F + at night.

Re: texas hog hunting question

I got one a couple of weeks ago with a bow.

Started about 4am and red-lighted the water tanks. Found a group about 6a.m. feeding away from the tanks and stalked one.
