Hunting & Fishing Texas Speedgoat 2104

Had a great weekend hunting in the Texas panhandle.
Not allot of goats around so you had to work to get one. They are extra careful and very spooky.
We watched this one for several hours, waiting for him to get in range.
We flanked him and got into a shooting position.
He finally wandered into 440 yards and my GAP 243 took him out.
Great time.

Brings back memories.
My son and I went on a Panhandle Antelope hunt in 2009 up around Dalhart/Stratford/Dumas area and had a blast. We took antelope less than 30 minutes apart, mine at 218 yards and his at 258 yards. Both scored within 1/8 point of each other and both made that year's TX Big Game Awards program.
