I bought a nice 6.5x47 Lapua R700 Custom Rifle from Steve Silas **reubenski** Back in April 7 of this year.The rifle had a custom laminated stock by Ray Bowman in Greensborough, NC of Precision Rifle and Tool.Steve shipped the rifle and UPS dropped the ball.The stock was broken from theses idiots it was shipped in a hard case and they still broke it.Steve had to file a claim to get me paid for the stock,it took them a week to come and look at the thing.After hours of phone conversations and sending paper work to prove there was a actual sale almost 3 monthe later UPS paid the claim for a new McMilian stock and the gun smith services to bed the rifle to it.Steve made sure things were taken care of.Thank you brother!!!!!

Good write up and great job handling things on both ends.
Remember, the party who pays the shipper directly is the party responsible for intact delivery, and insurance is always a good idea. Also smart to take photos of expensive items as they are packed and shipped.

Obviously hate hearing these horror stories and sorry you had to go through this. But look at how this played out and the outcome. For a terrible situation which was neither parties fault, other than the shipper(UPS), this is a class example of making things right and doing it the right way. And for what it's worth, I really like the laminate.
