Found this forum while looking for solution of 308 not cycling after shot. Great suggestions in the old thread ranging from buffer springs, lubrication, testing methods, etc. Gave me courage to disassemble my DPMS build to solve problem. Could not find problem until I checked the gas block and gas tube to make sure they were clean. That's when I noticed gas tube screws looked loose, and tube was out too far on barrel. Moved back to proper location & tightened screws. Certain this will fix problem. Sometimes it's best to start by looking for obvious problem.

Trigger assembly is next issue to resolve - pull is way too heavy now. Any suggestions which tread to read & follow?
