Gunsmithing The .338 Lapua and AI mag thing!

Yes, I’m probably beating a dead horse but has anyone solved the COAL length problem? AI Cip mags allow for 3.760ish. Does anyone know of a company building mags and bottom metal that will take a longer oal?
3.830 would be great for the .300 grn burger elite hunter. I know a Wyatt’s box in a drop floor plate will work but everyone wants to run dbm and I don’t know what to tell them.

They have one that is 4.050 but I don’t know of any bottom metal for it. It doesn’t fit MDT’s stocks either so I don’t know what it’s for.

Old thread I know, but Mirage ULR has a chassis magwell option for that 4.050 MDT mag... Bottom metal I have no idea lol

Believe it's just for the Mirage ULR chassis, only one I've found so far

I believe the only way around it is use a CheyTac action w .590 bf w CT bottom metal. Than you could seat solids out to 4.200 plus and run mag fed.

Unknown munitions has its own bottom metal and mags setup that runs 3.95

This is exactly the reason why I went with the 338 Norma (improved). I run the Lapua (improved) at 3.925 in a single shot action.
