Hey guy's, just an update. Firing line has a concrete slab now (no more straw covered mud). The concrete and labor were donated by Brock Beran (blue shirt), Beran Concrete. He was a competitor last year and had so much fun that he offered the donation as soon as we proposed to build the new firing line for Flint Oak Ranch. When you see Brock at the next "Blast" be sure to give him a big thank you. Framing crew starts next week and the roofers on 9/11. We are hoping to be ready for benches by mid September. More updates to follow. Jim and Sally

Factory class - Andy Boeckman, a tactical competitor.
Tactical class - Nick Barnard, a tactical competitor.
A R class - Allan Carmichael, a 1000 yard long range benchrest competitor.
Unlimited class - Phil French, an 81 year old original Varmint Hunters Jamboree competitor.
5- Gun champion - Todd Williams, a tactical competitor.
Come and join us and be added to this list of Champions and take home a share of the pot. Thanks Jim and Sally

We also wanted to let everyone know about two charities that we will be helping. Resilient Warriors, they help homeless veterans find housing and Freedom Hooves Therapeutic Riding Center, they help disabled people through horses. We have a few silent auctions items and raffle items. All the proceeds from that will be split between these charities. Possible item to name a few are an AMP annealer, case of .22 ammo and a trip to the NRA Whittington Center including fees, lodging, and a concrete shooting bench.

Here are some additions to the sponsor list . Ruger, Conco Construction, Cross 1st Bank, Protektor Model, Parks Motors, Holland Shooters, and ICI Insurance. Our sponsors have gone above and beyond with products to give to the shooters.

We have 80 entered already and several more in the works. It is sizing up to be so much fun. We will also have a 3 man team competition, which will be at no extra charge. Each team members scores will be averaged so it will not matter how many classes are entered. There will also be a Sporting Clays Tournament. There are still a few on site hotel rooms available and several camper spots with electrical and water hook ups. Lots of shooting, good food and drinks (at the on site restaurant and "Last Shot" bar, and great friendships. Come join us. You can call if you have a question. Shooing questions, call Jim 316-259-2581. Entry questions call Sally 316-259-2585
