While I'm not thrilled w/ the new stadium sponsor as I haven't a clue to who or what they do other than "retirement management" could you expound a bit on your gripe. Specifically the "cuck" statement?
Truly, in this day and age of nfl and the lot.... players getting paid bazillions of dollars to PLAY A GAME,,,, they have relegated themselves into irrelevance LONG AGO.

Grown men making millions to play a game because 70,000 people will buy tickets to watch, and tens of thousands more will sit at home and watch it on TV. That is how capitalism works.

If we're going to throw scorn at the guys who are paid millions of dollars to play a game, then we should also probably reserve a bit of anger for the guys who gain hundreds of millions (or in some cases, billions) of dollars from running a monopoly that extracts money from fans and taxpayers. Ya know, just for the sake of completeness. It's not like anger is a finite resource around here.
Regardless, fuck the NFL. I might feel differently if I weren't a Lions fan, but that ship sailed long ago. The only thing I can do about it now is help my sons make a better decision.

Eventually we should probably stop paying "entertainers". People who want to do sports can do it on a volunteer basis for the fun of the game.

Not likely. Protest all you want. Many people don’t watch pro sports at all and it doesn’t hurt that industry. For as much as a few entertainers protest, others silently support politicians on both sides. The whole damn Hollywood theme doesn’t get much traction with most voters. Anymore then Walmart is going to go under because of protests. Too big to fail.
And what would suggest they should have been done? Understanding these player have lawyers, contracts, millions of dollars and players unions? So understand terminating contracts because people didn't like them kneeling would have been a pretty tricky area. Especially considering the precedence that have already been set by muslim players not standing for anthem in professional sports. You want to force them to stand? That only builds a system akin to the one they see, and protest.
Then do all movie theaters become free to enter and all TV free to watch? While we are there lets go full socialism and not pay people based on the money their work makes.
You think playing football at the pro level is a game? In high school its already becoming so mental and physical it is barley a game. How many in here played college ball? That is getting pretty fucking serious. If you guys don't like them making that money, just go take their job and make it yourself.

FIFY... Yeah, doesn't make any damned sense. Why watch a game where like 50%+ of it is commercials for dick problems, depression, anal leakage, or whatever other crap they're pushing, and the rest is grown men fighting over a ball when they're not grabbing each others asses?
You could instead be outside doing something cool, like telling people to stop voting for democrats, buy more ammo, and to call their representatives and demand 2A sanctuary status for the whole state?

I still think the country will be way better off without "professional" paid sports. People that want to play sports can do so as they wish in their own local teams and local groups and be involved themselves rather than sitting around watching "celebrities".
I'm pretty sure if you were to take away all the taxpayer handouts, tax avoidance incentives, stealing people's properties for "public good" sports stadiums, bilking cities out of hundreds of millions for stadiums that someone else makes the money off of, giving out exemptions for things like antitrust violations and such, treating "athletes" differently when they commit crimes and such, the entire edifice of the mega industry of sports that is propagandized would start crumbling rather quickly.
Take away all that stuff from any large business and see what happens.
I would like to see you sight some examples of professionl athletes being treated differently in our legal system than any other rich person with a good lawyer. Add on to that, the money they loose when they are suspended for their bad off the field behavior, and I don't see how there is any rational gripe there. Can you also point me to an example of them stealing someones properties?
Too bad that wasn't build in the modern era's way of thinking, so that it could have been torn down 1019 years ago to be replaced by one that was built with more skyboxes and a retractable roof, each season ticket holder would get charged a "personal seat license" fee in addition to the face value of their tickets, and the whole thing would have been publicly financed based upon the (mostly empty) promise of more jobs and the (mostly true) threat of moving the team to another city, with the team owner pocketing the majority of the new revenue.
I'm not normally in the business of supporting Jerry Jones, but at least that's one billionaire who cut his own checks for his team's new digs.
