I originally had this built using an HTG stock to try something a little different but just couldn't get used to it. I bought this A5 from a Hide member and had her bedded again. Taking it out Monday for load development and leg stretching. Coyotes beware......

Looks good, I've got a similar build in mind for a tired M70 I have. Can't decide whether to go Ackley or not.

Really dig the color of that stock.

75gr AMAX's, LC brass, 205M's & RE15 hopefully. Seemed pretty fond of the 75's when I was fireforming some brass.

That is a sweet set up!!!
I am putting together one in 223 in a AICS. Just waiting on the AI Mags and a AAC M4 1000.

I had a AICS for my 308 and ended up getting a A5. I also have a A3 for a 300wm due the this month from McMillan. Went with the 223 AICS for something different but who knows if it will stay!!!

What a difference the stock makes. I've got a custom .223 being punched to 223 AI right now. It's currently in a HTG as well. Now you've got me thinking it should be riding in an A5. Hmmmm.

80% dark green, 10% black, 10% Olive drab????

Maybe 80% green,10% black,10% Tan. It looks like there some tan in there.

It looks very similar to mine, which is 50% OD, 25% black, and 25% tan.

I love the .223 in general. I may have to get into the whole AI thing at some point. Some many decisions. Can still run standard, yet build these up. This or the Whisper...

Yes, your rifle looks good, and I hope that it performs for you as well as it looks.

That being said, I can't help but think every time that I see this thread title, that someone has it in for "dude's with bow-ties".
