Honestly, I came back from the doctor today. Turned 70 last summer. My full blood panel came out to - "you're like 56".

My PSA (prostate) was .41. My wife is 63 and she freaked out when she saw my numbers. She said "You Shit! you're going to outlive me" Not that I ever want to, trust me....

Congrats on you PSA!! That said, and this is just my personal experience. From 60 to 70 it makes a huge difference. At 65 I was already .3... I.m starting to believe that genetics has a lot to do with this crap.

My brother, who is genetically more from my mother's side than I ever was, just died. Age, 66. Cause, Prostate cancer spread to his bones. Didn't pay attention to the signs. I miss him beyond words.

Moral of the story, you get to sixty years old. Prostate blood test every single year!

Well, in case of eggs, for example, yes...its supply and demand and a lot of dead chickens (bird flu and Biden's Dept of Ag.

But, IMO, the greatest driver of inflation and high prices in this country was the fucking Dimwits spending another $2T on cherished woke leftist shit after the Fed government...more or less...had to spend trillions during the shutdown of the country (COVID).

Government spending is inherently inflationary for two reasons: 1) the Government gets less for a dollar than anybody else....this is pretty much the definition of an inflation driver and; 2) we are in deficit spending and the way that they float that shit is printing more money...this dilutes the value of the dollar and...yep, inflation in the grocery store check out line, gas stations, etc.

So, while I'd like to see them all the illegal aliens sent back to where ever the fuck they came from, they are no raising demand significantly EXCEPT to the extent that local governments (like NYC) inefficiently spend billions housing, clothing, feeding, etc them. Again, government spending is inherently inflationary.

Just my view and I'm def not an economist so I'm more than willing to be corrected on any of this.

Wanna see something that will really turn your gears? Take eggs and look at the price in 1980. Then take a f-150 during the same time period. After that think on this: you are 70. I spent about 3 years of my career working with, " The best and the brightest". They were neither. The problem was that their leadership helped praise on them for doing the most mundane tasks in the most mediocre ways. It was too painful to endure. I moved on and never looked back.

I get what you're saying about the number of illegal aliens increasing the demand for things like food and gas. That said, since there has been a drive recently to increase the population of US Nationals/Citizens (to increase, for example, the base of Social Security FICA contributors)... perhaps even increase, specifically, the numbers of "America First" conservatives as well, (to increase our political & voting strength), I would think numbers needed to be effective in those efforts pail in comparison to the 15,000,000 illegals. Not that I want the illegals to be here... I don't. Come in legally, if you want to be here. Work and pay taxes, etc.. But, by your logic, if we are successful at increasing our US National/America First populations, at the numbers we need to be effective, the demand for and subsequent increase in pricing for basic supplies (food & gas for example) would be astronomical, it would seem. And, until that increased population of US Nationals/Citizens is old enough to enter the work force and pay taxes and FICA (assuming the jobs are even available), we're going to be in quite a bit of trouble, anyway.
