Just making a new ghillie suit for the upcoming trip to a faraway land.
Kinda nice having a whole kit with all kinds of goodies to choose from. I still like shoo goo rather than the supplied adhesive.
First time posting pics >.<

Its looking good, I am surprised you start with mulitcam as a base layer... Seems dark for a base layer IMO Always can go darker harder to go lighter. +1 for shoe goo! And dental floss for thread!!

Agree with jeff, a little dark for most desert situations depending on where you are headed. My main sugestion (coming from my experience) Make sure you sew some Knee and elbow pads into the appropriate places. Also do not go crazy on burlap and Jute. Concentrate mostly on your shoulders to break up your outline, it is hot as hell if you get to much material, and is also heavier and trust me every ounce helps (especially in Afghanistan). Everything else looks good,

The top came with the kit and is already reinforced on the front and elbows which is why i'm using it. Otherwise I think I'd get something more light colored.

Agree on the whole "easier to go darker than lighter." I am running extremely low on time so just making due with the kit. Pre-peeled jute which is pretty cool. But that's why I need to vary it up a bit since there's not a lot or else I would only use the tan.

There is definitely a ton of jute on there. I might take some off once we get where we're going. It'll definitely thin out though once I put it through a wash and hopefully take a bit of the color of the soil in our area.
