had a hunter fill his cow tag in some of our canyons, 3 of us had her quartered in about 30 min, only had about a 300M haul up the ridge to my ranger HD.

she had beans, alfalfa, and corn in her rumen from the food plot a few miles away, very good eating.

I had to scratch around in the freezer for the last of the elk meat last night. Bummed out I didn't get a tag this year. No better eating than a big fat cow elk.

he used a 300 Win Mag... thanks PGS we always take good care of our pasture, NEVER over graze, and make sure to pull em or rotate when its gets dry...
264win, i always carry a side arm, got my landowner lion tag and never know when i'll need to skin that smokewagon, don't worry the chamber is clear... i think???
