Greetings,
This is my first time posting and I'm new to forums, so if I inadvertently break some rule let me know.
My question is as follows
I just invested in a thermal clip on, Infiray RICO Micro V2 640. I would like to use it as a primary optic for my AR, considering it's 4x zoom is perfect for my intended use for the rifle (500 yards and in).
I would also like to use it as a clip on to use on my 6.5 Creedmoor, as I use that rifle for my 400-1000 yard distances. I would use the regular optic on that, just using the thermal to assist in target spotting.
Now, will I have to re-zero the optic every time I switch it? Obviously no need to do that when going AR>6.5, but going 6.5>AR I don't want to have to do a major re-zero every time. I will do a confirmation zero with a few rounds each time, minor adjustments being no big deal. But should I expect have to do major adjustments each time I swap? I would prefer not to have to do that.
