Does anyone know of any company that will accept trade-ins towards the purchase of new equipment?

My PD has a thermal imager that we would like to use as credit towards a new one and/or NV...

Where PDs are concerned, check with TNVC. They tend to take good care of them. Give Vic a call personally and have a chat.

The biggest problem with trade-ins, is re-selling for us.

If we kept it for use, i.e., training, demos etc., that would be one thing, but it's tricky for re-sell, as there is usually no warranty back to the consumer and we're set up only to sell new gear for what we do.

If its legal to own, I don't see a problem. I bought a couple Leupold scopes from a PD before.

Did you try SWFA? Website says that take trades on just about anything of value.
