Hey guys first post, thought I would brighten up your day so you can laugh at the new guy.

First off, ive been lurking this website for awhile and spoken to some of you in chat a few times before deciding to purchase the Savage 10 FP-SR in .223.

Bought a nice 20 moa base
Burris Xtreme Rings
SWFA SS 10x glass.

Anyhow, im a new shooter, this is my second summer shooting. We basically just shoot 100 yards right now while learning. My FP-SR is and has been shooting GREAT. Nailing dimes at 100 yards on the regular.

Anyhow, I started to get bored and overthinking and thought that since a buddy of mine had a variable offbrand scope that was 4-25x50 or something that I felt I needed something that would zoom in closer. Even those im outshooting the snot out of him I decided to take that SS off and I tossed on a Mueller Eradicator I had bought used the summer before but never used.

Are you done laughing yet ?

Anyhow, needless to say that 40 or so shots later, the SS went back on and the FP-SR is back to nailing dimes over and over and over.

I LOVE this SPORT!
